Ack - what do I do? Buy them (for free, obviously) and then download them? Just download them, but how?

Click on the little box that says add to cart. Then go to your cart. Create a free account and *purchase*. You will then be taken to a download area.

Can you help me figure out how to get the fonts downloaded onto my computer? I downloaded them from that site - stuck them in a folder. How do I get them *on* the computer where I can actually use them in Word? I knew how to do it on XP, but can't figure it out on Vista?

Is it different on Vista now?

I know in the past you would take the font file, go to Start> Control Panel> Fonts, and paste it in there. Not with Vista?

Also, just a general FYI, if you load a ton of fonts into you system Fonts folder, it can slow your computer down. What I do is only load the fonts I use the most and then put the rest in my own *Shannon's Fonts* folder. I even have sub-folders under that for different style fonts (Script, Holidays, Dings, etc.). Then when I need that font, I go that folder/sub-folder, open up the font, open Word/Publisher/etc., the font will be in the Font drop down menu while I'm using that program, and then when I'm done close that font window. That way it doesn't bog my system down but I can have tons of fonts. Does that make sense? (Sorry if y'all already know that! ;))

That's what I tried but it doesn't show up...like it doesn't let you paste it in there, or drag and drop or anything. But doesn't give an error either. Kind of weird.

I've heard that before about the fonts but I'm up to about 1,700 and haven't had a problem. lol But good suggestion if I start to!
