Tamara - Did I miss this recipe somewhere? I saw your post where you had the baked potato bar and the cookies - I need this recipe!

When people come over at last-notice, I stick things under the kitchen sink and in the oven.

I can't think about baking cookies, or I'll turn on the oven with all the dirty dishes in it....

Need that recipe, girl!

Here is my recipe for No Bake Cookies

In a saucepan combine:

2 c sugar
1/2 c milk
1/2 c cocoa
1 stick margarine

Cook for one minute after mixture boils.

Remove from heat and add:
1/2 c peanut butter
3 c oats (quick cooking)
1 tsp vanilla

DH loves these and they are great!

Sorry, this headache has limited me to a certain areas on scrapfreak. My recipe is exactly the same as Abby's. Thanks Abby for sharing yours!

I made these yesterday and it reminded me of an important rule when making these--It cannot be a high humidity, rainy day. They don't dry right and become tacky.

hmmmm I might not ever be able to make these then

I hadn't thought of that. I had made them before on a wet day, and they were fine, just took a little longer to dry. But this time the butter would not melt in the pan, everything else was boiling, but the butter was taking it's time. Could've been the butter.

I always melt my butter all the way before I add any other ingredients.

This is the first time I had this problem, and the first time I used this brand of butter. It has to be the butter!!
