I feel redundant, but here goes......
I am another one from Wisconsin and Tamara brought me to the freaky place.
:waving: :waving: :waving:
Anyway, my name is Kathy and I have a great hubby who teaches and is off in the summer and four busy kids ages 6-16. I work full time as a home health hospice nurse and spend the rest of my time doing things for kids, volunteering at church, volunteering at school, volunteering..... well, you get the picture. Scrapbooking started out for me as a way to document events, personalities, etc. Then it became a way to write down and tell the story of my family history as I dragged it out of my few remaining family members (parents and grandparents all died a long time ago). Now it is all of that PLUS a way to take time for ME. It is the time that I spend playing with MY toys, enjoying some creativity and sometimes taking a weekend away to do it. I have been scrapbooking for 17 years and love the changes I have seen in product and enthusiasm. Glad to join you here.
