ughh!!! need inspiration or something

I'm working on my layouts for my design team. They're due, ummm, by 9pm tonight. But with all I had going on the past week or so with my Nanny I haven't had the time or motivation to do them. Now the deadline is looming and I'm working on them and they're just blah or something. :( Send me some inspiration vibes. I'm not happy with them...

So here's one of the layouts. Is it okay? I'm not crazy about it. :( If you can't tell, the yellow paper is on top of the blue and I machine-stitched a zigzag where they meet. Are the arrows working? I printed out the words *bluebonnet* and *beauty* on the arrows and then used the glitter flower rubons on. What else does the layout need? I'm thinking some large silk flowers in the bottom right corner. Anything else? I'm just not crazy about this layout and I hate turning in something I'm not happy with. Help!

The arrows are definitely working...love that part! I like the stitching too but you're right there's something missing. Can you do some big letters or some added embellishments with journaling?

It's cute. I really like the idea of printing the words on the arrows. There is this big empty blue space the bluebonnet arrow is pointing to though.

Okay, I added some of the MM Jumbo Blossoms with Pebble Brads. I like it better. Anything else I need to do??? The layout just isn't one of my favorites. (Oh, and excuse the coloring of the photo of my DD on the layout. For some reason it's coming out really funky in this pic.)
