Team Freak Design Coordinator - Now Hiring!

I?ve mentioned several times about the upcoming design team and I?m looking to hire a Team Freak Design Coordinator to help put that in place.

The Design Coordinator responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Active participation in the forum and gallery
Participation in online crops, challenges, games, etc.
At least three (3) monthly layouts/projects using products from the Scrapfreak store and three (3) layouts/projects uploaded to the gallery using your own supplies (in other words, I don't want the only thing you upload to be the required work)
Communication with manufacturers regarding sponsored contests
Handling any guest Design Team member arrangements
Coordinating the upcoming Design Team contest

The Design Coordinator will receive:

Approximately $25 in retail product each month from the Scrapfreak store or monthly sponsor
20% discount in the Scrapfreak store
Personal bio and photo on our Team Freak page (once it?s complete)
Team Freak Design blinkie to use in your signature as well as any other sites

I am looking for someone that has a true interest in the success of Scrapfreak and is willing to do whatever it takes to make it successful.

Link to an online gallery or blog that shows the best range of your projects/layouts
List of any other message boards where you are currently active
List of any DT?s you are currently serving along with the starting/end dates
One (1) new layout using supplies of your favorite manufacturer (does not have to be all one manufacturer but show me how you can highlight product)
Link to your blog (if you have one)
A short (or long) paragraph on why you would like to be part of the team and what you have to offer

Feel free to include any additional information that you think I might need to know. :)

Remember, all information needs to be received by May 19, 2007 in order to be considered.

I didn't send this one out to the public because I didn't want all the applicants that typically apply JUST to be part of a DT. I really want someone that is interested in being part of something cool and not just wanting to add a line to their resume. Now, that doesn't mean I won't consider (or even hire) someone that's new here but I will certainly be taking into account whether someone is a current freak.

The actual DT, however, will be publicized.

Nothing concrete really. I just have to look at everything and decide on who best fits the responsibilities involved. It's not going to be an easy decision.

I would like to say something before all the entries are even in and before any decisions are actually made. :)

I'm sure you can imagine that this is NOT going to be an easy decision to make. There are so many things that have to be considered and my biggest fear is that feelings will get hurt. On so many websites you always see fall-out from these types of decisions so I want each of you to know right now that I value each and every one of you that have shown an interest in the position. You have all been a huge part of Scrapfreak and I hope you will continue to be for years to come. If you are not selected for the coordinator position, please remember that we are planning a DT contest and there will be other opportunities to be part of Team Freak in the future. All of you are talented, amazing woman and I'm very glad I've gotten to know each and every one of you. :)
