We joined a gym
I got a Body fat assessment :(
I went to my session with the personal trainer- and only fell on my face once. LOL!!!!

He is a member too- and maybe we will go together. We each got one session with the PT and that will be it for a while. I am looking for some workout ideas. Today I could not figure out the bike to save my life (:confused::eek::confused:) So I walked on the treadmill.
I have to get some other pants though- there was some chafing going on. :o. And a swim suit for the pool.

Jinkies... did you stretch a lot after your workout? Make sure you do that, it makes a BIG difference. :) But yeah... you'll be havin' some soreness for sure.

I have a new workout plan after watching tv today. I'm going to buy this machine thing that works out your abs from the bottom up. Then, I'm going to buy this fat burner belt....And then, I'm going to start eating these bars that are supposed to make your tummy feel like you've had that surgery that I can't think of the name of. :giggle:
I'm telling ya....Those infommercial people need to start packaging that crap together! Seriously....if each one works - why not triple the bang????

on your toes and forarms
push up so all your weight is on your forarms.
talk about funny.
I lasted 5 seconds.
did not help that trainer man could see my butt in the air.
had to stop.

and for the record I only fell on my face after trying to do some thing called a plank-
on your toes and forarms
push up so all your weight is on your forarms.
talk about funny.
I lasted 5 seconds.
did not help that trainer man could see my butt in the air.
had to stop.

Why did no one tell me this?????
I trained on Sat am.
Poor DH trained on Friday after work, then helped my dad hang up shelves in two bedrooms sat, then mowed the grass today.
He hurts way more than me. :(
I just hurt in the upper arms- around the shoulders- and I was so good that I went and walked on the tread mill today.
Must head to the store to get pants that do not chafe before another workout though.:o

OMGosh... yes yes and double YES! Stretch every single day. Even if you don't work out. You will be amazed at the difference. Really! Hold each stretch for about 30 seconds. :)

That's interesting...I have a one gym membership...or at least that was what I was told. Because if I did we could meet at the one by VR since it's between us. I'll have to check on it.

I use... Shapefit.com . You can type in a muscle group in the search bar and find all kinds of ideas. That's what I use when I don't have a trainer that day to write up my routine. :)

oooh, planks are fun aren't they!? I do them with my trainer each time and he makes me hold, then the next one I have to hold 10 seconds longer, then 10 seconds longer etc..
last time we trained he had me do them 10 times...ugh!
I do them at home each night too...holding for at least 25 seconds...don't worry, you'll build up the ability in no time!
