Can you do a pull up or chin up?

PULL UP BABY!

:toot: As of this week I can do a full 1 & 7/8 pull ups from a full arm extension down all the way up!!! With a little more than a shoulder wide grip. It's very odd according to my trainer. He says... you are so strong with everything else, what the heck is up with the pull ups? LOL

I can do 4 supinated (that means palms facing me or GI Jane style).

I can squat 205 pounds now! Whoot whoot!

That's all we did (the girls) in Elementary school. The boys did the pull ups.

Oh really! LOL... We only did the hang there. LOL I did it the longest out of all the girls in my school.

I *am* trying though...I may never look as good as you, but I can be healthy and get to a better me. I'm really OK with that...we can't ALL look as good as you! lol

I can handle sore and sweat, but just not sore that makes me cripple for a week...sheesh! it better be worth it, that's all I gotta say!

first day of lower body. I know I'm gonna be sore but I swear Wendy, last week when I couldn't even move my arms or sleep etc, that was not normal!!

I have been skating (I'm a figure skater) and using my eliptical so I'm hoping that my legs can stand a bit more, my arms were soooo flippin' weak! LOL

I did have a talk with him and he thinks maybe he was a bit too aggressive starting out with me...I was doing 40 reps in sets of 5 on the very first try! I actually felt myself develop a migraine, it was just toooo much..

so, we'll see how today goes, slowing it down a bit....wish me luck!

how bout it!!! My sister has been weight training for over a year now and when I told her that she was like WHAT THE **CK!!!!! she does the same as you, and told me that when she started out it was like 10-12 reps, 3 sets! That is what we did today and I feel really good...

Yup, when I started out that's what I was doing too. 40 is just unrealistic! No wonder you felt that way. I am glad today was better. You'll likely still be sore, but NOT like you were.

Oh and your legs.... probably won't be very sore the next day it's the day after that when they get really sore if they will.
