Scrapfreak's New FREE Classes!

I'm so excited to announce more details on Scrapfreak's FREE online classes that we'll be starting in May.

Every month, we'll be offering a FREE class that will give you the opportunity to create a more in-depth project with guided step-by-step instruction as well as interaction with other freak members.

Jessicabree and ChickieShannon will alternate each month bringing you these amazing classes. Bree has some fantastic mini-album projects in mind that will help you stretch your creativity and capture all those little details of your life. Shannon will guide us in making some incredible paper craft and altered projects. (Shannon's altered monthly challenge will now be presented to you as part of these FREE classes and will no longer be a Freaky Friday challenge.)

Here's more on how the classes will work:

Format
The classes will alternate between topic based mini-albums (taught by Bree) and paper craft or altered projects (taught by Shannon). New classes will start on the 1st of each month and will be posted in our new class (http://www.scrapfreak.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=64) forum.

Class Reveal
We'll reveal the project approximately a week before the class starts along with a few pics to get your mojo flowing. We'll let you know exactly what the class will be about and what to expect in the coming weeks.

Featured Product
Each online class will feature one or more products from the Scrapfreak store. The featured products are not required for the class but we'll be making it available for you to purchase so you can receive the product before the class begins. We will highlight the featured products along with the class reveal.

Instruction
Each project will require different instruction but we'll be taking it week by week and posting more details and a different step in the project. We'll be holding your hand all along the way.

I really hope everyone has a chance to participate. I'm so excited about Bree's first class...I already have my supplies ready. Maybe with a little begging and pleading you can convince her to post a sneak peak. :)

I really mixed a lot of product and will encourage all of you to dig deep in your stash! I mixed several colors. Mostly anything that looked good on the black board books I used.

hmm.. okay. Pink puffy ribbon is MM (from their new Animal Crackers line). PP is a mix of old Scenic Route (and newer SR would work great too) and MM. And its hard to tell, but I mixed in some Doodlebug sugared cardstock.

Bree, I'm just catching up on things so forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question- is your class going to be an all about me theme? I've truly loved some of those topics you've posted in the past.

Love this class idea but I'm not sure I can dig in until I get moved.

And, like Sara, I've always wanted to do Shannon's altered projects but just ooh and aah from afar.

some will be AAM topics, but people are also welcome to do the same topic about someone else.

My "thing" is usually the topic. So expect prompts on various topics and a focus on journaling and documenting the little stuff :D

1. do you plan to do it on you?
2. if not who?
3. if you - think about your core personality traits, habits and values. As you go thru your day you will be surprised how more of these pop in your head if you think about it.
