I received the picture you emailed me and it's size is 1280x960 so that's why you can't upload it directly from your computer. The maximum size allowed in the gallery is 800x800.

I went ahead and uploaded it to photo bucket and resized it to the 800x600 option. That seemed to work just fine so make sure that's the option you choose when you resize through there.

Try uploading something else using that resize option and let me know how it goes.
