Help!!

:hmmm: Ok...I used to be a really cheesy scrappr...we won't even go there. But now I'm really into everything distressed. I've got these sea world pics to do. But my mom bought the cheesy sea world paper and NOra picked out sea world stickers and now i'm stuck with cheesy...anybody got any ideas on how to make this not cheesy?

OK, I wouldn't use the whale paper because I'm just not figuring out what to do with it. The "sea world sea world sea world" one I'd use just a strip or circle (circle my preference) of it as an accent. Ditto the water. As far as the stickers, use just one to accent a title block or journaling or something, certainly don't overdo it there!

ok...i found a brand new package of cosmo cricket paper...lol it matches and i'm going to try something with it. got to find the cd with the pictures first!

I would do what Laura says, use the "sea world sea world sea world" paper as a circle. I would maybe use the splashes around or somewhere along the cirlcle or journaling block, or even the picture.

I went to Creative Imaginations website gallery to see if they had any examples on how to use the the whale paper, cause I have no idea. Unless you use it as a Title page on an all Sea World album.

You could also use some of the supplies to make a cute "thank you" card with a fun picture on it.

Laura does have some great ideas! My only thought for the whale paper...and brace yourself because I tend to be crazy sometimes lol...would be to cut around the whale, put it on chipboard, and cut several pages out of chipboard in the whale shape to make a mini-album with that whale on the cover. Other than that, I've got nothing!

i decided to do nothing with the whale page...i'm just going to put it in the scrapbook as is...i just couldn't figure it out...so it will remain as is. i never did get the pics printed last nigth cause i couldnt' get my laptop on my desk because it was such a mess...so i started cleanign my desk. i've got to get out and run errands, but i should have pics tonight!

yeah...nora didn't get to bed until 10-ish because the storm started right at bedtime and she wouldn't go to bed because of all the thunder and ligthning. I didn't do anything related to the scrapping...I started working on designing myself a watermark with no luck (anyone know how...please share that with me :D ) and I submitted my market photos to a stock photo place. Haven't heard if they were accepted yet or not. We'll see.

currently i'm folding laundry. this little girl i'm watching isn't happy to be here. she knows me because well, i've known her all her life...but she is a major mama's girl and she keeps going and sitting by the front door. poor thing. Nora is trying to ge her to play. I read them some books and she just goes back to the front door. Guess it's boring here. I'll feed them and put them down for a nap in a couple of hours and then i'll aim to get soem fun things done! :D

tamara...i'm gettin' closer! I rocked little bit to sleep and Nora is on her bed watching a dvd. When it's over she'll have to take her nap! Poor baby had an accident today...she's stayed dry except for 2 accidents for almost a month! Man!

Anyway, I had to reinstall my printer on the laptop (still don't have the desktop cause they gave me the wrong processor and they are getting another one...ugh!) So I am printing sea world pics right now!!!
